This is a stunning late 1800's ormolu and jeweled powder compact with a pretty unused silk embroidered powder puff.

It features 4 emerald green colored stones, 4 pink stones, as well as 4 light blue stones that are all faceted bezel set stones are set on a gorgeous ormolu filigree lid.

It opens to a glass mirror, that has one small white spot.  It has a metal mesh sifter net and a chrome powder plate cover that has holes for the dispensing of the loose powder you can add.  The mirror has a tab to lift it up to reveal the rouge holder or a place for the handmade silk powder puff.

This compact is in fabulous condition, and the hinges and closure are in great working condition. It measures approximately 2 inches in diameter, and comes in a white organza gifting pouch.

A wonderful gift idea for the collector, and perfect for use with todays loose powder.
